Patricia, a Business Administration professional from Escazú, San José, Costa Rica, began her adventurous journey as an exchange student in Plymouth, MI, where she developed a love for snow and cold weather. This led her to Columbus, OH, in 1992, where she worked for an airline. Seeking warmer weather, she moved to Macon, GA, spending eight years as an IB High School Spanish teacher.
Her quest for warmth continued in Miami, FL, where she lived for 13 years, working in Admissions and Human Resources. Two years ago, she returned to Costa Rica to care for her elderly parents and worked as a medical interpreter.
Patricia enjoys golf, fitness, travel, and socializing, but her true passion is helping others. Guided by the motto, “Who does not live to serve is not fit to live,” she strives to make a difference wherever she goes
Patricia, profesional en Administración de Empresas de Escazú, San José, Costa Rica, inició su viaje como estudiante de intercambio en Plymouth, MI, donde desarrolló un amor por la nieve y el clima frío. Esto la llevó a Columbus, OH, en 1992, donde trabajó para una aerolínea. Buscando un clima más cálido, se mudó a Macon, GA, donde pasó ocho años como profesora de español en el programa IB de secundaria.
Su búsqueda de calor continuó en Miami, FL, donde vivió 13 años y trabajó en Admisiones y Recursos Humanos. Hace dos años, regresó a Costa Rica para cuidar a sus padres mayores y trabajó como intérprete médica.
Patricia disfruta jugar golf, hacer ejercicio, viajar y socializar, pero su verdadera pasión es ayudar a los demás. Guiada por el lema “Quien no vive para servir, no sirve para vivir,” busca siempre marcar la diferencia dondequiera que vaya.
